This market leader in the field of ion analysis has an enviable reputation for supplying quality instruments and services - true value for money. Due to ongoing expansion they have an opportunity for an experienced UK Sales Manager to further develop their already successful team.

Reporting to the Sales Director, this key position will involve defining business strategy and taking P&L responsibility for the Chromatography division. A hands-on role you'll lead a team of sales and technical support specialists to ensure that all targets are achieved and customer satisfaction is top priority. You'll need a structured approached combined with an entrepreneurial attitude and a real hunger for commercial success. Versatility, drive and the type of personality that thrives in a team environment are essential.

You are a proven man-manager with ability to lead, coach and mentor your team of seven. You ideally have a chemistry background with a solid understanding of analytical chemistry with emphasis on IC and /or HPLC techniques. With energy, enthusiasm and ambition, you are pragmatic (comfortable travelling widely and often) and flexible , enjoying the ability to develop your people and bring success and growth for all concerned.
