This global medical technology business is focused on drug therapy, diagnosis of infectious organisms and products and systems to advance drug discovery. This is a significant role within the diagnostics business unit managing Key Industrial Accounts in the pharmaceutical sector across the UK.
Your prime responsibility is to drive growth and profitability of sales of a broad range of microbiological solutions to key pharmaceutical companies designing and implementing a strategic development plan for each account to maximise potential. Your knowledge of pharmaceutical processes will take you to the key decision makers in General Management, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, QA/QC and an important part of the role is helping your customers achieve an effective supply chain through efficient forecasting.
You’ll need to show a great understanding of sterility testing and environmental monitoring for microbiological testing in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and QA sectors. Previous demonstrable sales success is a bonus but the technical knowhow is paramount. Outgoing, highly motivated, energetic and confident you are a first class communicator able to build strong business relationships at all levels.
