The company is a leading international biotechnology company and a major supplier of reagents and diagnostic enzymes to the clinical diagnostics industry, running it's International operations from the UK.
They are now seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist whose responsibilities will include the provision of technical information to customers - principally instrument manufacturers and distributors. You will also assist in assessment of new product opportunities and provide the technical content of literature for product marketing; and will be required to support the sales team as a technical expert on customer visits.
Reporting to the Technical Marketing Director, you should have sound knowledge of modern clinical biochemistry gained from a user perspective by either working in a pathology lab or for a clinical chemistry company. Based from offices in Kent, the company will assist with relocation if needed. As part of the job you may be expected to travel internationally from time to time.
