This is a leading life science and technology company of international standing; their commitment to service is acknowledged to be at Gold Standard. Laboratories use their products daily in a wide variety of disciplines encompassing academic, pharmaceutical/biotech, clinical and research laboratories.
As Key Account Manager for Cambridge, you will be responsible for managing the company's business into the University of Cambridge and the Sanger Centre. To help achieve sales targets you will have management responsibilities for an Chemistry and a Biology sales specialists. To balance the technical requirements of this team, you should have a strong Chemistry or Biology background (MSc/PhD) but more importantly at least 3-5 years sales experience, ideally with key account management experience. You should be able to manage accounts at all levels and have a good network of contacts.
As the role is focused on Cambridge, you should be living in or close to the city, or happy to relocate to the area. A base salary to £40K plus package is on offer.
