A UK based manufacturer of specialist spectrometers is looking for a Product Support Specialist to join our Technical Support team based at Head Office, but traveling widely across the UK.

You’ll be responsible for installations, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades at customer sites and host training sessions for new and existing users. When not out and about, you’ll work from the office giving telephone support on applications and other technical issues helping to feedback information for product and applications development, and writing technical training and support literature.

To cope with this demanding but very rewarding role you’ll need a degree qualification in biochemistry or chemistry and hands-on experience using optical optical spectroscopic techniques and some knowledge of biophysical instrumental methods would be a real advantage. Happy wielding a screwdriver when necessary, you are flexible, pragmatic and creative!

The role is unusual and varied using skills usually required by account manager, product manager and field service engineer! Fortunately, full training will be provided.
