The company is a diversified $multi-billion international company with products that span a wide range of technologies with many being household names. They have a number of manufacturing sites in the UK and are now looking for a Product Development Engineer to work on safety products in their development labs in North East England.

You will be expected to lead development projects involved with personal protective products liaising with colleagues in R&D, Marketing etc to help deliver new products and sales growth.

You will have a science degree – ideally with a Chemistry, Physics, Materials or Engineering background and a good knowledge of material properties and a range of industrial process technologies. Excellent project management and team working skills are a must.

As the role is based in the North East, you should either be located in the area or happy to relocate. A base salary around £27K is on offer plus the benefits of working with a major corporation, plus excellent career potential.
