The company is a fast growing manufacturer, distributor and supplier of sophisticated histology and cytology systems and are the preferred choice for a large number of laboratories in NHS and private sector.
This role will involve on-site preventive maintenance, installation, modification and testing as well as some customer technical support. The main area of coverage will be Northern England/Wales from the Midlands to the Borders but you will be expected cover other areas of the UK although this is minimal. A good location would be either the M62 or M1 corridors.
Ideally qualified to a recognised level in electrical or mechanical disciplines along with knowledge of modern PC based systems, you will already have solid experience in field service of laboratory products and have developed the associated customer service skills. Flexible, independent and pragmatic, you can work alone with minimal supervision and are happy to travel widely to give best service to your customers.
A base salary around £25K is on offer plus car allowance, bonus and other benefits.
