This UK company specialises in research, development and production of immunodiagnostic kits and reagents, sold worldwide via subsidiaries and a network of distributors.
This unusual role will see you helping with implementation of global marketing strategies through liaison with customers, distributors and subsidiaries around the world.
Your role will be very varied and include analytical as well as promotional activities. You'll be involved with new product launches, training for sales and support staff, attending exhibitions and conferences, monitoring sales figures and liaising with production to ensure adequate supply!
Probably from a clinical laboratory background (immunology / immunochemistry) you should have a solid understanding of the diagnostics market together with a couple of years spent in technical product marketing; sales experience will be an advantage. Highly organised and structured in your approach you are a confident presenter with excellent written, verbal and numerical skills. Flexible to be able to travel freely internationally and spend 20% time away from home, this is an opportunity to get your teeth into a career-building role with a respected company in its field.
