The Company is a distributor of speciality chemicals with a global presence and reputation for excellent customer service. They have a significant Food Ingredients business with some major names in flavours, colours and essentials for food product development & manufacturing.
This Product management role will see your responsible for management of food ingredient ranges in both the UK and continental Europe, by formulating strategies to deliver business growth. The link between the company and both Customers and Suppliers, you will negotiate sales and purchase contracts fostering long term business relationships. An important element will be controlling supply & demand, monitoring customer service levels and managing logistics.
Probably a (food) science graduate from a Technical/Product Development background in food manufacturing, you have strong customer facing experience and a proven commercial track record. Bright, energetic and pro-active, you are a first class communicator able to interface effectively with commercial and technical contacts from a range of major international companies. Offices are in Surrey (inside the M25).
