You will take a leading role in design and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects making use of your numerical and analytical skills involved with projects at all stages from contract creation to final product delivery. You will organise and progress the analytical engineering effort to provide creative solutions to fluid and thermodynamic problems using your strong technical expertise to manage tasks within UK and overseas projects Your specific responsibilities will include:

Definition of technical solutions for product or system developments
Leading engineers to realise your technical solutions
Undertake or lead numerical / CFD analyses of concepts and solutions
Develop new and novel solutions to complex fluid and thermodynamic problems
Writing technical reports and producing high quality design documentation

To be considered you need an excellent first degree in a numerical or engineering related subject with high level practical and technical skills for solving fluid and thermodynamic problems. A good theoretical understanding and practical experience of CFD codes and techniques is desirable, preferably commercial codes such as Fluent, CFX or STAR. Experience in 3D CAD would be beneficial although not essential. A PhD in a numerical subject is desirable as is past exposure the healthcare industry.
