This is a new and fascinating opportunity with a UK R&D company, known for its expertise in immunology.
As Oncology Specialist you will take responsibility for developing KOL relationships notably with Physicians to increase awareness and the promotion of unique products for detecting and monitoring plasma cell disorders such as multiple myelomas. You will also assist the marketing team with recommendations for collaborative studies and clinical evaluations as well as presenting information at conferences etc. and acting as scientific guru in support of the sales team!
Qualified in a relevant science you need sales / market experience in immunodiagnostics, haematology or oncology – you already know where to go to find your KOLs! You are comfortable with technical discussions at the Physician and Laboratory level never forgetting the commercial reasons for your role.
An outstanding communicator, you probably come from a Senior Hospital Sales / NHS Liaison role with a pharmaceutical company focused in one of the above target sciences. You are flexible and happy to change your approach to manage business with a diverse group of customers e.g. Physician/Consultant, Laboratory, Research groups. Responsibility extends to half the UK (North or South) so you need to be able to travel widely and stay away when necessary.
