This company is leading the world in the development of fast whole blood analysers to support the care of critically ill patients at the point of care. They are making BIG waves in the hospital blood glucose market and will be bringing new products to market in the next couple of years. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to take a step up towards Product Management.
In this field based customer facing role, you will be supporting the Sales Team with presentations, product trials, bench assessments etc. as well as playing a key role in tender management – generally becoming the company’s POCT product Champion. You’ll also get involved with marketing communications activities such as advertising and exhibitions and play a significant role in planning conversion training and other vital customer support.
Ideally from a Clinical Pathology background, you should have a proven record of success in Account Management of closely related hospital products, clin chem analysers, blood gas and glucose POC – community POC is NOT part of the remit for this role and is not relevant. Articulate, creative, energetic and ambitious, you are not afraid to stand up and be counted in front of colleagues or customers. You will be travelling a lot throughout the UK and need to be willing and flexible to travel as needed.
