In this role you will manage business at some strategic Key Accounts (e.g. the Sanger Centre, MRC, CRUK John Innes Centre, etc.) as well as identifying and developing networks and projects across these accounts throughout the UK to bring in new business in liaison with fellow account managers and sales specialists. You will also be responsible for business with some specialist veterinary and forensics accounts.
Ideally based in the Cambridge for good access to important research centres you are at least degree qualified, with previous proven sales skills in the Life Sciences market. If you can bring with you previous commercial experience in these key accounts, so much the better! To get the most from this important position you must be persistently enthusiastic about your science (!) self-motivated, focussed but flexible, willing to travel throughout the UK and occasionally to Europe.
