This company is a global medical technology company that is focused on drug therapy, diagnosis of infectious diseases and advancing drug discovery. They are now looking for a Senior Sales Executive to develop their high-volume molecular STD screening market across the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
Based from the company's HQ in Oxfordshire, and working in close cooperation with the sales organisations in the countries, you will use your sales skills in capital equipment and knowledge of the pathology diagnostics market to generate sales growth. You will also work closely with the global marketing team to generate new product ideas and input into market strategy.
You should have a background of selling capital equipment into pathology combined with a solid academic background in Molecular Biology, Microbiology or Medical Microbiology . Some experience of working in a multi-cultural environment would be useful, and the ability to travel widely is to be expected.
A salary up to £50K basic is on offer with a good benefits package.
