The company has been one of the UK's best success stories in science, creating and developing a market over many years that now flourishes globally. Now part of a major international company it continues to thrive and grow internationally but still retains it's UK headquarters as it's global centre of operations. They are now looking to fill a NEW role of Business Development Manager – Research and Analysis Markets.
This role has global reach and the successful candidate will be the driver of coordinated activity for products within their global sales network and also responsible for ensuring that this network has the right support material and training. You will also be responsible for the development of new business through direct activity as well as the coordination of activity within subsidiary companies and third party channels.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record in international sales in scientific markets focused on research and analytical market sectors and should be happy to travel widely as required maybe up to 20 weeks per annum and be happy with working antisocial hours as required in an international role. Some experience in key accounts/ capital sales and selling through third parties and in dealing with corporate issues would be good.
Salary is negotiable and ideally you should live in, or happy to relocate to, the Thames Valley.
