This company is a recognized supplier of unlicensed and discontinued pharmaceuticals and devices, provided on a “named patient” basis. This is a role for a Hospital Account Manager working in the unlicensed/discontinued medicines division.
You will be promoting products and services in hospitals (and retail pharmacy sector) throughout the north UK, developing strong business relationships to proactively grow current customer revenues while developing new business.
As well as representing the company at national exhibitions, conferences and seminars, you’ll keep up to date with new unlicensed products coming onto the market and any temporary supply problems and discontinuations which could be advantageous to the company.
The role requires a proven record of success in sales to hospitals and to the retail pharmacy sector, coupled with strong business acumen and a flair for B2B negotiation. Goal oriented, with excellent planning skills, you’ll need to be self-motivated and well organised. You must also be happy to drive considerable distances and to regularly spend time away from home.
