This significant part of a global healthcare company is breaking new ground in design and manufacture of orthopaedic devices and supplies, offering surgeons first class products they can rely on for successful patient outcomes.
In this global Category Manager role you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating market opportunities for a specific range of implants, developing and implementing long term strategic plans fro the brand.
Broadly your role will encompass, market analysis, launch forecasting & execution planning, product development (VOC, concept evaluations etc), life cycle planning, brand positioning, pricing, KOL development, education & training.
At least degree qualified an MBA is preferred and you will have proven, well honed product marketing skills in the medical devices market including upstream, strategic planning. Your previous experience demonstrates success in brand communications, positioning and marketing plan development with strong evidence of analytical skills.
As an individual you have exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills and exhibit ability to work and collaborate with a wide range of business and medical colleagues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines. This international role demands ~ 40% international and/or domestic travel, including some weekends, so you need to be flexible and comfortable with time away from home.
