In this important role within the Life Science business you’ll provide field service support to laboratory customers in the UK, installing equipment and resolving technical problems as well as planning preventive maintenance and assisting with training courses, meetings and seminars.
Offering advice on the use and care of instruments, you’ll also exploit opportunities to expand the after-sales support business by actively selling Service Agreements and products.
You’ll need an appropriate education, probably in engineering or chemistry and have experience in the lab environment working with LC systems, ideally in a service or support role. You should also be comfortable working with computing hardware & software. This is a very customer facing role so you need to be professional and a confident communicator ready to pick up on additional potential business!
