This is an opportunity to work with extremely innovative technology in a start up division of a global healthcare giant. Already a world leader in imaging systems, RIS, and PACS, the company has established a venture to develop digital pathology solutions that are designed around the needs of laboratory pathologists, and to fit seamlessly into existing workflows. New technology has been designed and developed for this business.
As part of the business rollout program, they are now looking for a Director of Sales to develop the sales strategy for the Germany, Austria and Swiss region. As part of a small global team, you will have full responsibility for the sales plans and results in the area; identify new opportunities and develop the commercial business strategy to fit. You will also build your own team over time to deliver the sales volume and profit goals.
Based from a home location, you will have significant commercial experience either in the IVD (histopathology preferred) and/or radiology/PACS sector. Marketing skills and people management/team building skills are also vital. You will also be expected to travel widely as required - possibly up to 60% of your time across this German speaking territory.
