This is a leader in molecular diagnostics with significant expertise in this fast growing market and renowned for its technological innovation.
In this very significant role as Director of Customer Service you will direct the activities of all departments providing pre-sales and post-sales service and support to customers and distributors in Europe, managing Customer Services (sales processing), in-house Technical Support, Field Service Engineering and Customer Training functions.
You will lead the strategic development of these functions to improve efficiency and increase profitability, all with enhanced customer satisfaction as the end result. Fully responsible for management of the teams within these departments, you’ll recruit, train and lead your staff to achieve their full potential and the company’s European objectives.
To be success in this pivotal role you should be a science or engineering graduate with further business qualifications desirable. Your considerable experience in the medical device industry includes exposure to international business and experience at “the bench” as well as Operations and/or Service experience. Capable of strategic thinking, effective budget planning and complex problem solving, you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in German and English with proven ability to lead and develop your team.
The position is based from the European Headquarters in Germany (Rhinefalz) you will be well rewarded with a salary to €100K and an executive package.
